Highlights of May 2009 Meeting:
The Region VIII May meeting was held Tuesday, May 12, at the Cowan Creek Golf Course Maintenance Facility at Sun City, Georgetown, Texas.
Dr. David Chalmers, State Extension Turfgrass Specialist, did a very informative and interesting presentation on turf management. Attendees were also treated to a fajita dinner, courtesy of Heart of Texas Landscape & Irrigation, Belton, Texas.
Special thanks to Dr. Chalmers and to Doug and Carol Rowald with Heart of Texas Landscape for a wonderful meal and a great meeting. Please mark your calendars for the second Tuesday of every month
to attend our Region meetings!
