Education: Texas Licensed Irrigator
Essential Functions:
- Pull permits on all projects
- Submit necessary Dig Tess
- Act as a liaison between city inspectors and Heart of Texas Landscape & Irrigation
- Execute drawings necessary to complete all irrigation work
- Execute backflow tests on all installed irrigation systems (Once Backflow Prevention Assembly Tester Certification is completed post hiring)
- Perform material takeoffs
- Adjust heads
- Monitor inventory regularly
Experience Required:
- Previous work in irrigation field
- Clear & Valid Texas Driver License (Class C)
Abilities / Skills:

We currently have a position for a General Manager who will be responsible for managing the operations of the plant, including production management, office management, negotiations for raw materials, interaction with state and city regulators. This is an opportunity to become part of a company with a long history of annual growth.
Responsibilities & Duties:
The General Manager will report directly to the president of New Earth. The GM will have total responsibility of the plant including office staff. He will be responsible to interact with any state or city officials/regulators. GM is responsible for the negotiations for any raw materials. All production employees will report directly to the GM. The General Manager will have interaction with the sales team however, sales team will report directly to the director of sales.
Skill & Qualifications:
This candidate must have a minimum of a bachelors degree. Must have management experience, be a self starter and highly motivated. Possess good organizational and leadership skills. Experience in the composting or mulching business is not mandatory but preferred.
Salary: Negotiable competitive salary with lucrative benefit package. Relocation package is possible.
